I currently work at a private university where I do the language editing, formatting and fact-checking of all academic assessment material of the Science faculty – skills I also apply when editing dissertations and research papers.
I have 20 years' experience in academic editing (theses, articles and reports), media and marketing, publishing, government and the media. I have experience in editing academic content across all subject fields in the education spectrum.
In addition, I hold a degree in Psychology and have experience in editing dissertations focused on the social humanities, business and economics, education and, especially, MBAs. I also do a lot of freelance work for the national government's department of communication as well as parastatals such as AGSA, where I am an accredited freelancer on their preferred service provider lists.
Over the last two decades plus, I have worked on all platforms and media, doing editing, writing, translation and journalism as well as social media marketing content creation and editing the national South African yearbook. I am a preferred supplier as a freelancer on government and parastatal level and have experience in academic writing and editing.
