In the last decade, I have played a part of a significant restructuring and cultural transformation amidst a few mergers and acquisitions. I have implemented new processes to guide the programme, product and enablement teams to success. In previous roles I have led teams beyond tech and product, including operations, and customer support, growing strong independent and self-organizing teams based on fundamental competencies.
I am mindful of the specific nuances of payments across various platforms, as well as the importance of the user experience, having been part of the Product team that led the integrations at Payfast for new alternative payment methods and value-added services as well as other banking and fintech solutions such as buy-now-pay-later and other credit facilities.
Within my portfolio at EasyPay I managed various in-person payment solutions for a few of the major fuel retailers in South Africa for 5 years.
During my eight years at Syntell I managed various bill payment and municipal utility integrations to the ecommerce platform, both from a project and operational front.
