Jade Bothma

Young entrepreneur with a deep ambition to create. Manages social media for luxury hospitality, has co-founded a startup and hosts a podcast alongside founding a nonprofit at the age of twelve. This work has taken me to international stages (WWF Top 100 Young African Conservation Leaders, Commonwealth Points of Light award). Currently studying a BCom in Entrepreneurship, channelling these experiences into creations that connect culture, community and impact.

Founded and run a registered nonprofit focused on ocean conservation and plastic waste reduction. Lead beach cleanups, eco-brick building projects, and educational workshops with youth surf outreach programmes. Collaborated with organisations including Parley, Waves For Change, and Sealand Gear. Presented at international conferences and summits.

Founder at Fangirl (2026 – Present)

Co-founded a handheld fan brand launching in Summer 2026. Managing the business, product development, branding, and market strategy alongside a co-founder.

Social Media Manager at Villa Sefarina & The Boulders House (2026 – Present)

Manage content creation and the online presence for two luxury Cape Town properties. Focus on creating and scheduling content to drive engagement and bookings, as well as creating and managing online advertisements for the villas.

Stewardess at Motor Yacht Valinor (2024 – 2025)

Worked as a stewardess on a superyacht, responsible for guest service, housekeeping, stocktaking, and maintaining the organisation and presentation of the vessel to the highest standard.
