Key responsibilities and roles

• Continuously deliver safe quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in accordance with the set theatre standards.
• Ensure effective pre-operative preparation for an allocated theatre list.
• Safe, holistic care intra-operatively in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Post-operative hand-over of patients as well as decontamination processes in theatre / CSSD in preparation for the next patient.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control principles in order to mitigate clinical risks.
• Ensure optimal utilization of equipment
