I started my career in HR in 1998 as an HR Management trainee in the Mining industry and have performed in various HR positions from Senior HR Officer, HR Manager T&D Projects, Skills Development Specialist, and MANCO HR Manager operations (1999-2012). In the latter position, I served as the chair of the Workplace Labour, Skills Development, Employment Equity, Women in Mining, and Social & Labour Plan forums. I was also a lead member of the Wage Negotiation Team, Mining Right Conversion Team, Health & Safety Committee, and a Trustee of the pension and provident funds.
Commensurate with my qualifications, skills, and experience in all facets of Human Resource Management and Business Administration, I have provided freelance consulting services to a myriad of organizations in various sectors since 2013. I formalized my service offering by establishing Employer Practices Consulting CC in 2020.
I am a proponent of critical and systems thinking methodologies in my approach to problem-solving. I am particularly passionate about the dynamics of employer-employee relations, employee-centric governance and wellness, organizational development, and transformation. I am fully computer literate in MS Office, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, etc., and have fiber, and UPS. I can work remote-independently, hybrid-team. I only accept payment if the client is wholly satisfied with my services.
