Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanic equipment The ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists and hand tools Outstanding knowledge of methods and techniques of maintaining mandatory routine Sound communications skills wide knowledge of mechanical repairs of gearboxes, axle bearing, lead wheels,etc Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, repair manuals and schematics Assist mechanic in inspecting and repairing forklifts as well as other related activities
Perform tasks of remodeling diesel engines by using components like hand tools, welding equipment, etc.
Assisted in replacing transmissions, installing new ignitions, aligning wheels, etc. Inspecting and repairing of forklifts Repairing and maintaining of stock pickers, pallet wraps, forklifts, pallet jacks, forklift batteries
Repairing, modifying and replacing forklifts according to defects or malfunctions Responsible for regulatory periodical inspections by performing preventive services Responsible for any kind of repairs to forklifts Inspect, service, and repair forklifts Disassemble, overhaul, repair and reassemble engine, transmission, differential, clutch, brake, electrical system, fuel system, and any other part related to material handling
Perform scheduled equipment service ranging from minor to major service Use all tools of the trade, including precision instruments, welding equipment, shop machines, overhead hoists and power tools in making adjustments and repairs
Complete accurately all required internal and customer driven paperwork, including work orders, safety inspections, timesheets
Troubleshoot and repairs of battery operated, electrical and engine forklifts Perform routine, emergency and preventative maintenance of forklifts. Interpret manufacturer's technical manuals to perform the necessary maintenance and repairs needed
Troubleshoot forklift problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions
Able to diagnose and repair mast and attachment components Reassemble forklifts and make all necessary adjustments for effective and safe operation
Perform safety inspection of forklifts prior to being released back to the work floor
Cleaning of equipment and other areas as required Ensure work area and methods used in carrying out job duties meet safety requirements
Competent to complete legible service documents and logs for preventative maintenance tasks
