As a dedicated and empathetic individual, my passion for helping others achieve their full potential has been the driving force behind my journey in the field of Psychology. Throughout my academic and professional pursuits, I have always been focused on gaining a deeper understanding of the human mind and its complexities. I have completed a range of studies in Sports Science with Psychology, Counselling Psychology, and Educational Psychology, which have equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to support individuals facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges.
My experience working with diverse populations, including those with special needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder, has also given me a unique perspective and appreciation for the importance of cultural sensitivity in the field of Psychology. I am a Registered Psychometrist and Counsellor through the Health Professions Council of South Africa, and my current focus is on the psychological well-being of parents with children on the Autism Spectrum. I am excited about the possibility of applying my skills and experience to new challenges and opportunities, and look forward to the next chapter in my journey as a psychologist.
Worked as a teacher in special needs for 8 years and then started practising in Psychology in the Educational Field.
I recently obtained a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch.
