Jillian Beukes

My name is Jillian Beukes. I am a 26-year-old female, residing in South Africa as a South African Citizen. I am married, with no dependants. In 2018 I graduated from The University of Stellenbosch with B-Speech-language and hearing therapy degree (Honours). Currently I am completing an online course to teach English to non-native English speakers (i.e., TEFL).

Presently, I am employed by the Western Cape Education Department (i.e., in South Africa, Cape Town) as a Speech-language and hearing therapist at a school for intellectually challenged individuals (i.e., students have a mild-moderate diagnosed intellectual disability). I also see patients for my own private practice and patients at a sub-acute rehabilitative facility in my private capacity.

Over the past four years I have worked in diverse contexts that have required a variety of skills to complete tasks presented to me. I would best describe myself as being passionate about everything that I do, hard-working and always aiming to complete every task or project to the best of my ability.

In addition to the above-mentioned traits, characteristics that have rendered me a reputable employee and would make me an asset to your company include my ability to work well independently and within a team, my loyalty to any project or company I am hired by, punctuality , open-mindedness, flexibility, my ability to perform well under pressure, my detailed orientated approach, and that I am open change and to learning, to further improve my skill set required to complete my job optimally, specifically in times where situations and circumstances are ever-changing.
