Interpreting complex wiring diagrams, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOM) to map out how a harness should be routed on the board.
Wire Preparation: Measure, cut, and strip wire to exact specifications using automated machines or hand-operated wire strippers. Attach electrical connectors, terminals, and lugs to wire ends via soldering or using hand/pneumatic crimping tools. Routing wires along designated guide pegs on the harness board, weaving, tying, and binding them together using cable ties, lacing, or heat-shrink tubing.
Operating diagnostic testers (e.g., Cirris or similar circuit analyzers) to verify electrical continuity, voltage drops, and to test against opens, shorts, or miswires and defects. Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing any wiring faults or damaged components detected during visual inspections or electrical testing.
Co2 Arc Welder at Bell Equipment (2012-01 – 2019-12)
Fabricating and assembling metal components and equipment through welding, cutters and measuring tools. Producing of metal products according to customer or employer specifications. Maintaining required health and safety standards. Tacking and welding components according to the required specifications. Reading drawings and following the relevant welding specifications required. Conducting comprehensive inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet project specifications and industrial standards.
