I am an experienced ETL / BI Developer with over a decade of expertise across retail, logistics, and banking environments. I am passionate about designing and delivering effective, optimized ETL solutions.

I began my career in 2012 as a BI Consultant at Adapt IT, gaining broad exposure through multiple client projects before moving into a permanent role at DSV in 2015, where I focused on report development and operational support. Since joining Discovery Bank in 2017—prior to its public launch—I have specialised in back-end ETL development, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and data integrity. I consider strong collaboration skills, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams as key strengths.

• Used Infor WMS and IBM Cognos Report Studio to generate custom automated logistics documents such as invoices, packing lists, waybills, and bill of landing documentation for specific DSV clients.
• Supported tickets logged by DSV clients by analysing and formulating solutions based on the information gathered.

Discovery Bank — Jul 2017 - present

• Development of table functions and calculation views in SAP Hana.
• Development of stored procedures that are used as standard components to assist with job logging and exception handling in SAP Hana.
• Development of BOPCARD and BOPCUS solutions for regulatory reporting to the South African Reserve

Bank.

• Automated ETL solution to extract all qualifying cross-border transactions and load to SQL Server database using SAP Hana procedures.
• Convert results to XML format as per requested standard using SQL Server Management Studio.
• Development of Cash Threshold Reporting (CTR) and International Fund Transfer Reporting (IFTR) solutions for regulatory reporting to the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) of South Africa.
