I have learned to managed by sub coordinates time sheets, sick leave, annual leave, KPI’s and training. I was involved in the implementation of an upgraded version of On Key 5 at the Company I worked for in May/June 2017. Did learn different approaches to do RCFA’s on equipment failures to prevent similar occurrences. Follow up on outstanding action out of RCFA.
Management reports were compiled by myself to show equipment availability, utilization and running time of critical equipment such as Jaw and Cone crushers & Ball Mills. Weekly follow up reports was compiled to ensure that all outstanding actions on RCFA'S and any other external reports was dealt with as quick as possible. Ensured that all legal inspections were done as per legal register by External Service Providers and that all legal certificates were filed and were electronically available for future reference as per DMR requirements.
Weekly backlog reports were sent out to all relevant parties to ensure backlog is kept to a minimum. The Planners send out a Weekly Engineering report to all foreman and Engineers for outstanding job cards and discussed it in a weekly Engineering meeting. As the Maintenance Superintendent responsible I was to ensure that all Plant asset Management procedures were to be followed and implemented as Set out by Company.
Plan corrective, organize, plan and assist in scheduling. Maintenance activities. Provide plans and estimates for maintenance work. Investigate work request. Do shutdown Planning where we have pre shut meetings and post shut meetings.
Plant, Voyager Process Plant, Genesis Crushers Plant, Genesis Process Plant and our new Vulcan Plant with there outside sections was part of my responsibility. Onkey was giving us a lot of system problems therefore management decided to move away from Onkey and go with AMT. This is still to be enrolled in future.
I have done 2 courses in Pragma as I was familiar with SAP when I started at this Company. Worked with Pragma for the last six Years and prior to that I have work intensively with SAP at Glencore for 9 Years and 14 Years at Anglo Platinum for 14 years with SAP in the Planning Departments. My highest Qualification is my National certificate N5,N4,Microsoft Projects, Certificate in Maintenance Planning, Wireman's License, Matric Certificate, Pragma certificate, Foreman Certificate, Law and Standards certificate
