My name is Johlett, Brand and Graphic Designer with 11 years design industry experience and 5 years agency experience.

I have worked on a diverse range of projects across various industries for both local and international clients. I pride myself on personal service and my knack for answering clients’ precise needs; developed through deep relationships and collaboration. This means I am able to translate my clients’ thinking into design with minimal effort.

I work quickly to deliver quality work, and I have a true passion for branding: the process of creating a brand from scratch – and seeing that brand applied marketing elements – never fails to thrill me. I'm meticulous, deadline-driven, committed, service-oriented and highly creative, with a versatile style.

Since establishing Black Ink Graphix, I have honed my skill working for a broad range of luxury, corporate and commercial clients. In addition to projects like layout for books and magazines, website design and branding, I have made my mark in less conventional areas like vehicle branding and indoor and outdoor signing. Through collaborations with leading industry players, I have developed a deep understanding of printing procedures, colour palettes, paper samples and finishes, and have established an excellent rapport with other suppliers, such as architects, writers, photographers, and web developers, making me a valuable asset to any team.

I have succesfully obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design & Multimedia at The Design School SA | 2007
