• Coordinated a 12-month compliance project for the National Credit Act, ensuring deadlines and strict regulatory requirements were met.
• Acted as a liaison between teams, attorneys, estate agents, and clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Prepared and organized loan documentation, product materials, and training resources for seamless onboarding of staff and clients.
• Supported content development for home loan products, collaborating with teams to enhance delivery and client understanding.
• Managed queries and troubleshooting related to loan processes, ensuring high-quality customer service.

Technical Sales Representative at Tongaat Milling (1982-01 – 1983-09)

Visited farmers within my designated field of operation and provided appropriate animal feed rations to assist farmers in solving specific problems. The solutions were wide ranging and included everything from providing complete balanced feeds for cattle, sheep, poultry, pigs, fish and other smaller stock to unique ration formulations. We also provided a wide range of supplement licks and feeds.

I consistently exceeded my targets and earned additional commissions. Although I was very successful as an animal feed representative, the travelling was very disruptive for a newly married couple with a young child. I was traveling more than 80 000km per year.

In hindsight, I should not have left Tongaat Milling.
