I worked in Unilever for 7yrs were I gained experience in a manufacturing environment.I was in charge of running the plant.Being the team leader in charge allowed me to instruct my team to get the maximum output from a shift.
My recent position was stock controlling.I handled the ordering and the recieving and ensured that production runs efficiently.Checking safety stock levels and lead times from suppliers.Following up on suppliers and ensuring stock is available when needed.Our daily spot checks allowed me to identify variances and close them off.Weekly cycle counts helped in our monthly stock takes to avoid variances.
My last education was Matric but I have gained many years of experience in different fields of the production process.From raw materials to finished goods.
