Approached to be a working foreman and to build all of the companies engines which consists of- Cummins ISX, Cummins 855, Cummins N14 Celect and Celect plus, Detroit Series 60 DDec 3, 4 and 5, Iveco Cursor 13 Euro 3 and 4, Fuso 4ton 4D34 engines. Overhaul of Horton fan hubs -old and new types and Kaizer fan hubs. Refurbishing all Fuso 4 tonners from braking systems to clutches to engines.
In the workshop foreman's absence I run the workshop which consists of 18 teams of 18 helpers and 18 mechanics, 4 cleaners and 2 office ladies. Staff have recently been reduced to 9 teams of 9 mechanics and 9 helpers. I currently help with general maintenance on the trucks until an engine needs to be repairs or there are any fifth wheel overhauls, cylinder heads need changing, injector changing, or fan hubs that need overhauling.
Foreman - Zimbulk Tankers

Foreman with key responsibilities of making sure the maintenance performed was of quality. Personnel management of a team which consisted of 7 Horse mechanics, 7 trailor mechanics, 2 cleaners, a receptionist, and an auto-electrician. Dealt with breakdowns and did inspections on all horses, flat decks and Tank clinic tankers as well as GRW tankers.
Main mechanic responsible for engine assembly and repair, this included Cummins ISX, Cummins N14 Celect and Celect plus, Detroit DDec 3 and 4. Overhauled all fan hubs – Horton new and old type as well as Kaizer fan hubs.
