I am a graduated law student from the Catholic University of Leuven. After taking some additional courses in Urban Planning, I launched my career as a junior Environmental lawyer at the Bar in Brussels. In this industry, I felt the need to focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution, as it retains a future-focus and prevents arguments about right and wrong from developing further.
As amicable dispute resolution has a long and rich history in South Africa. I decided to do the courses of the LLM Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Stellenbosch, combined with a skills program offered by the University of Cape town and given by “the mediation apostle” Alan Nelson.
