I see myself as being an ideal candidate for this job. I graduated from the University of Kwa‐Zulu Natal with Bachelor of Business Science Honours Degree in Economics. I have also studied Finance up to third year level.

I have also completed my qualification as a Certified Financial Accountant with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and Accountants. I have done this qualification to gain more knowledge in the accounting field to better understand the work I am currently involved in. I possess the eagerness, the willingness to give more than 100% of my ability, the unseen potential that is waiting to be explored and the drive that you will not find in any other candidate.

• Reconcile all major general ledgers Accounts for JHB and DBN (Incl Salaries & Wages Accounts, Freight and Chieta)
• Reconcile Bank Account weekly
• Maintain and reconcile Interest General Ledger Account
• Maintain Audit Sales / COS schedule
• Extract Sales Reports for DBN and JHB and balance sales and COS to General Ledger 
• Complete Production metrics before the 12th of every month for DBN and JHB
• Reconcile Capex for JHB & DBN to balance to overseas reports.

• Monthly: 
• Maintain Production “actual” utilities schedule
• Oversee and check the Overseas Travel Schedules
• Check and Process Credit Card Journal
• Check and Process Nedfleet Journal
• Process Salaries and Wages Journal
• Process Standard Cost Variance Journal
• Maintain new Capex’s opened in the month, obtain codes, and maintain the forecast and control schedules.
• Maintain the Freight schedule for Supply Chain
• Run weekly Variance Analysis schedule for JHB and DBN for weekly variance meetings.
• Maintain the Variance figures in the Dbn Metric Schedule
• Maintain weekly and monthly Variance figures to plot graphs for JHB and DBN for KPI Boards.
• Check Creditors payments weekly and monthly and verify recons
• Assist in the “Month-end Roll over Process”
• Complete VAT calculations, submit on SARS Efiling and Submit payment on Nedbank for Authorisation

• Complete Royalty Schedules 
• Capture general ledger journals at month end 
• Process General Bank Journal onto ROSS
• Process foreign Bank journal
• Ensure accurate archiving of records annually in compliance with company procedures
