Judy Phiri

I am a compassionate and dependable Health Care Assistant with formal training and hands-on experience in hospice care. I completed a six-month Health Care Assistant programme at Handsworth Institute of Health Sciences and Technology and gained practical experience through voluntary work at Our Lady’s Hospice. I have experience supporting elderly and palliative patients with personal care, mobility assistance, hygiene, and emotional support while maintaining dignity and safety.

I am hardworking, patient, and able to work well within a team. I am flexible with shifts and open to relocation for suitable opportunities

I gained hands-on experience as a Volunteer Health Care Assistant at Our Lady’s Hospice from October 2024 to 14 February 2025. During this period, I provided care to elderly and palliative patients, assisting with personal care, mobility support, hygiene maintenance, and emotional support. I worked closely with senior healthcare staff, followed care plans, observed patient conditions, and helped maintain a safe, clean, and dignified care environment
