Working at a consulting company has given me the exposure and experience in multi-disciplines of electrical engineering, particularly in the mining industry. Not only from a technical and engineering point of view but also social and ethical fundamentals through shadowing professional engineers and technicians. This has equipped me with the skills and experience in the following disciplines.

• Designing Electrical Schematics, GAs and SLD using AutoCAD
• Application of electrical standards in the design of electrical reticulation systems (SANS, IEC, IEEE)
• Using computer-assisted engineering and design software
• Preparation of Electrical procedures for installation test & commissioning
• Factory Acceptance Tests and Commissioning of MV Switchgears, LV boards, VSDs and Transformers
• Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and clients
• Doing protection studies and writing reports with network analysis and protection recommendations
• Lighting Simulation studies and reports
