Kabelo Sebigi

I'm a BCom Law student awaiting graduation at UNISA with a genuine passion for where law meets finance. Over the past two years volunteering at Madiba Law Incorporated, I've had the privilege of working on real RAF claims, drafting legal documents, and being the person clients could rely on and that experience has only deepened my commitment to building a meaningful career in this field. I've earned 12 distinctions across taxation, financial accounting, and law, not because I had to, but because I actually find this work fascinating.

Outside of academics,

I've pushed myself further with an Investment Banking certification through J.P. Morgan and assessments that benchmarked me in the top tier for grit and motivation. I'm now looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity where I can make a real difference and bring my problem solving ability, resilience, and commitment to excellence to an organisation that values those qualities as much as I do.

Legal Services

• Managed a high-volume legal correspondence desk, drafting, reviewing, and dispatching legal letters and formal documents to a professional standard accepted without revision by the Director.
• Led regulatory liaison across multiple active RAF matters, coordinating directly with SAPS, hospitals, and the Road Accident Fund to secure documentation and progress third-party claims on behalf of injured clients.
• Implemented a structured case file management system, ensuring zero misfiling incidents across an active portfolio of client matters — maintaining audit-ready records at all times.
• Provided direct executive support to the Director, managing a complex diary, screening and prioritising communications, and coordinating client appointments with medical experts — reducing scheduling conflicts and improving client turnaround times.
• Ensured full NCA and FICA compliance in client onboarding and documentation processes, identifying and flagging non-compliant documentation before submission.
• Served as the firm's first point of contact for all walk-in clients and telephone queries — consistently maintaining a professional, empathetic, and solutions-focused client experience.
