I would like to have a job that offers me opportunities and perhaps on job training. I would also like a career where I can put my abilities to the test where my options are taken into consideration. I also see myself as hard worker and a good communicator, who is well-being of a company if given the opportunity and necessary guidance. Assistance officer at Lower breede River Conservancy (2018-01 – 2019-12)

A law enforcement officer responsible for protecting natural resources, wildlife, and enforcing environmental laws.

• Enforcing hunting, fishing, and environmental laws
• Conduct patrols in parks, forests, rivers and protected areas

Baboon monitor at Cape Nature Potberg (2019-01 – 2022-12)

Preventing conflict and protecting both baboons and people

• Track the daily movements of Baboon troops
• Observe their behavior and report unusual patterns
• Ensure baboons stay within their natural habitat and avoid residential areas

Pupil field ranger at Cape nature Marloth (2023-01 – 2023-12)

• Working under supervision and assisting in protecting wildlife, natural resources and ensuring the safety of conservation areas
• Join senior rangers on foot or vehicle patrols
• Observe and report any signs of illegal activities (e.g. snares, poachers.)
