I'm a 44-year old, young at heart, lover of life. I attack everything I do with enthusiasm, hard-work and a desire to succeed. I am a very social, open-minded and curious person, and that has helped me to progress in my 18-year career in media & communications, and also now in my new found career path teaching English.
I value respect, fairness, loyalty and good communication. I enjoy discovering new things, which is why I love travelling. One of my passions is self-development, and I work on bettering myself on a daily basis.
My career started in advertising where I worked as a media strategist & planner, a job that require meticulous planning and attention to detail, as well as creative thinking. After an 18-year career in Media & Communication I followed my truer purpose of teaching and have done that for the past 4 years as an ESL teacher in Vietnam. I have experience in teaching all ages (2-16 years), as well as adults, including IELTS.
After high school I completed a 3-year National Diploma in Language Practice (NQF 6), as well as an additional diploma in Communication. In order to pursue a career in teaching I completed a TEFL Certificate through i-to-i TEFL.
