Vendor Master Data at Eskom Yes Programme (2024-09 – Present)

• Advising and informing requestors regarding new developments in Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE), tax, Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID), Central Supplier Database (CSD) reports
• Investigating and resolving requestor queries within service level agreement (SLA) request resolution targets
• Collaborating with Supplier, Development, Localisation and Industrialisation (SDL&I) to update B-BBEE master data
• Verifying the request is not a duplicate entry on the system before registering a supplier
• Ensuring the correct classification category is requested on the Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)
• Drawing CSD reports for all suppliers worked on to verify profile on record against the report, updating tax statuses and restrictions
• Verifying and authenticating correct source documentation is submitted according to classification category i.e., B-BBEE certificates and banking details
• Verifying and authenticating banking details with the supplier and bank before changes are made
• Confirming source documentation authenticity e.g., verifying COID with Department of Labour
• Running due diligence checks on ownership details of suppliers

Induction Operator at DSV Logistics, GDE Contact Centre (2024-03 – 2024-08)

• Ensure proper communication with the sorter controller to ensure alignment of wave number and subject that is being inducted
• Ensure that the pallet that has been presented has a barcoded with the wave number visible, ensure that a printed A4 from cargowrite with the wave number and quantities are placed on top of the pallet
• Ensure that the wave number on the barcode label and the wave number on the printed A4 page matches
• Ensure that the sorter pallet lift is operated with caution and that no person is standing next to the pallet lift when it is being lifted or lowered
• The wave number that is being inducted and the wave number being activated on WSC must correspond
• The induction operator must ensure at all times that the correct wave is being inducted
• The sorter needs to operate at a minimum of 1200 packs p/hour to ensure that the daily KPI target is achieved
• Ensure the integrity of equipment are always being maintained and defects reported immediately
• Ensure safety rules and warehouse regulations are always adhered to
• Housekeeping of the warehouse
• Adhering to DSV's code of conduct, operations and policies
• Assist at the strapping machine, heating tunnel and box room from time to time
