I am a dedicated and hard working Electro-mechanical (Millwright) Artisan with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, welding & fabrication, I have over 8 years of experience in heavy GRP pipe manufacturing attending breakdowns and preventative maintenance.

Assistant Maintenance Manager - Senior Millwright at Flowtite SA (Pty) Ltd (2016-11 – Present)

• Performing machining work on the lathe & milling machine to produce parts.
• Working with high-risk workshop tools & hand tools.
• Supervision of artisans & apprentices.
• PLC and SCADA faultfinding.
• Design and construct electrical panels with the use of schematic drawings.
• Doing risk assessment, working with different types of measuring instruments, different types of electrical measuring equipment.
• Fault finding on electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Working with different types of welding, arc welding, brazing, Tig and Mig welding, gas cutting and heating (fabrication).
• Ordering & doing stocktaking duties for maintenance department.
• Attending call outs after hours to support production needs.
• Working with different types of cables, conductors, AC & DC machines, soft soldering, Drives, VSD soft starters (Electrical).
• Working on different sizes of motor, couplings, Hydraulics, working on different sizes of power packs, we service hydraulic pumps, cylinders, do fault findings on electrical and mechanical.
• Servicing gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, gearboxes, valves, liquid vacuum pumps & servicing pneumatic air cylinders, fittings and valves, installing new air pipes.
• Installation of complex mechanical components and heavy machinery.
• Modification of plant machinery & simple components.
