An Independent Cambridge International High School serving approximately 110 students.
- Lead and mentor a team of 12 teaching staff, improving onboarding consistency and strengthening Cambridge curriculum delivery across all departments. This was achieved through targeted staff mentoring, performance support, and department-specific development initiatives.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings and coordinate staff training
- Foster high staff morale and strong team unity to ensure the smooth operation of the school and promoting a positive school culture that is reflected throughout the organisation.
- Develop, revise, restructure and implement teaching strategies with each teacher to optimise Cambridge curriculum delivery, which has resulted in eight students achieving top in South Africa in the past three years and a 100% school pass rate with a minimum pass mark of 60%.
- Cambridge Examination Head of Centre which includes overseeing at least 150 candidates writing their Cambridge examinations with Peak Academy each session.
- Working closely with our public relations lead has resulted in a 40% increase in student numbers since 2023.
- Lead both Academic and Pastoral head roles across the school.
- Ensure that student subject choice and exam writing correspond with SAQA and USAF requirements.
- Manage the school timetable that is individualised for each student – which is equivalent to a timetable complexity of 80 register classes.
