Volunteer - Tzu Chi Foundation - Taiwan

As a youth volunteer, I helped distribute donations from Master Cheng Yen in Taiwan, including clothes, books, and food, to those in need. I assisted community members, especially elders and people with disabilities, with their chores and essential tasks. Additionally, I supported students with their homework and participated in soup kitchens to provide meals for those less fortunate.
Task Team Student Representative - Residential Management

As a student representative for my residence, I acted as a liaison between fellow residents and the residential management. I conveyed resident concerns and feedback to the management and facilitated communication between residents and staff. Additionally, I organized residence events, addressed maintenance issues, and worked to enhance the overall living experience for all residents.
Dresser - South African Menswear Week

I helped designers backstage by dressing models for the fashion show. I assisted with changing outfits, organizing clothes, steaming garments, preparing shoes and accessories, and making sure models were ready on time during the fast-paced fashion show.
Fashion Internship - Identity Man department - Truworths

During my time at the Identity Man department, I had to create four looks for summer 2024. This project entailed working closely with buyers, planners, designers, and garment technologists, offering me valuable insights into their roles. Additionally, I had the opportunity to visit the in-store and visual display department, broadening my perspective.

I volunteer at Masum Tailor on weekends, where I assist with sewing, tailoring, pattern making, and customer fittings. I also assist with designing and altering clothes for customers.

I worked as a stylist assistance for Imprint under designer Mzukisi Mbane during South African Menswear Week. I helped style and dress models, prepare full outfits, organise shoes and accessories, and make sure each look was complete and ready for the runway.
