About
I am a dedicated and motivated LLB graduate seeking articles of clerkship as a Candidate Attorney. I have acquired practical legal experience through my work at the University of the Western Cape Law Clinic, where I assisted with client consultations, legal research, drafting of legal documents, and case management under supervision. I have a strong foundation in legal research, legal writing, and legal administration, with exposure to areas including family law, contract law, and administrative justice.
My experience in professional, client-facing, and administrative roles has enhanced my attention to detail, time management, communication skills, and ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments. I am committed to professional growth and ethical legal practice, as demonstrated by my past involvement with the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter, Street Law UWC, the Black Professional Society, and my membership with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners South Africa. I am eager to develop my skills under the guidance of experienced legal practitioners and to make a meaningful contribution to a dynamic law firm.
While my academic journey had its challenges, it strengthened my resilience, discipline, and work ethics. I am a committed and hardworking individual who takes instruction well, applies myself fully to tasks, and consistently strives to improve. I am confident that my dedication and practical approach to work will allow me to add value as a Candidate Attorney.
