Greetings! My journey into the world of software development has been a passionate and purposeful one, driven by curiosity and a desire to make a meaningful impact through technology.
As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics at University of KwaZulu-Natal and concluding my Software engineering at WeThinkCode on 16 December 2023, I have honed my technical skills and cultivated a deep appreciation for the art and science of software engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I have not only excelled in coursework but also actively sought out opportunities to apply my knowledge to real-world challenges.
My love for coding began when I was Doing mathematics at Ukzn as I also delved into a python module as an elective, that when I decided to pursue software Engineering at WeThinkCode after my graduation in mathematics. Since then, I have been on a continuous quest to expand my expertise. I am proficient in a variety of programming languages, including Python, Java, and C++, and have experience working on diverse projects, from web development to mobile applications.
I have completed my coursework at WeThinkCode using agile methods, whereby I break down a project in two weeks iteration, and using version control tools such as git, gitLab and gitHub. I am confident that my technical skills, enthusiasm for innovation, and dedication to teamwork make me a strong candidate for your Software Developer Graduate Program. I love to solve problems.
Professionally I have not yet worked, but I am doing my software Engineering learnership at WeThinkCode. I as evidence of my love for programming I have developed a few personal projects, one is a java chess application, another is a movie application with both front end and back end. For my back-end I used Spring-boot and MongoDB for database and in the front end I used REACT JavaScript.
My most relevant education is software Engineering at WeThinkCode which I began on the 19 September 2022 and will finish it on 15 December 2023. My whole journey has been challenging coming from a mathematical background to software engineering but I managed since both streams involves problem solving and I love problem solving.
