I am very passionate, caring and well-focused career and thoroughly trained at Robert Sobukwe Nursing Academy in Khayelitsha and went on to fully graduate with a certificate in home based and health care course including advanced CPR. I can perform great under pressure, love my job and skilled in handling patients with delicate conditions in more professional and reserved manner.

Resident Carer - Baphumelele Home

Performed practical work at Baphumelele Home for the resident carer. Completed 340 hours and was privileged to nurse various patients with not so similar illnesses including Dementia patients and Frail and bedridden patients.

• Bed changing each morning and cleaning all surface areas
• Conducting full wash, grooming and mouth care
• Feeding patients and cleaning after
• Working with nurse to give medication on time
• Checking and recording vitals like blood sugar, BP, Pulse and temperature on daily basis
• Dressing wounds and instituting pressure care management so as to lessen bed sores on patients
