- Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are used for Plant/Equipment start-ups
And shutdowns and also that procedures are revised/reviewed.
- Ensuring that Housekeeping of all Operational units is well maintained and that
Daily inspections are done and corrective actions taken.
- Ensuring that all Operational equipment is well maintained and critical equipment
Checklists/inspections are done on equipment when the standby is out for repairs
Or scheduled maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance/adherence to Business Unit rules/procedures and execution Of disciplinary enquiries when required.
- Incident Notification Flash Reports.
- Root Cause Analysis Technique.
- SHE Reports and monthly meetings.
- Safe-making of Plant and equipment and Issuing of Work permits to maintenance
Disciplines.
- Adherance to Daily Production schedule.
- Optimization of Plant/Equipment and doing troubleshooting.
- Maintaining stable plant operations and taking corrective actions when deviations
Occur.
- Incident reporting and investigation.
- Control of absenteeism, time-keeping and leave for shift personnel.
- Shutdown planning and execution.
- Acting as Area Manager.
