With a foundation rooted in the Hospitality Industry, my journey began in high school, where I actively participated in large-scale events, including 400-pax dinners and Matric Dances. Serving as a waiter during these occasions, I honed my skills in high-pressure environments, showcasing my ability to handle the demands of significant gatherings.
My tenure at Asta Italian Restaurant marked a transformative experience. Progressing from a Trainee to Assistant Manager within a year, my dedication, skills, and hard work became integral in leading the Front of House Team. I took pride in running the restaurant seamlessly, fostering an environment where I not only demonstrated effective leadership but also trained numerous trainees to join the team.
The fast-paced and high-stress nature of the hospitality industry became a familiar terrain for me, and I thrived in such environments. In 2020, I proudly graduated from Hudson Park High School, setting the stage for my educational journey. Eager to delve into academia, I embarked on a transformative chapter at Stellenbosch University from 2021 to 2023. There, I pursued a BScAgric in Agricultural Economics Analysis and Management with Food Science, an endeavor that, regrettably, encountered unforeseen circumstances, leading to an incomplete conclusion.
Undeterred by this setback, I am resolute in my commitment to knowledge and growth. Currently poised to chart a new course, I am enrolling in a BA Marketing Communications program at AAA School of Advertising.
