Final year BCom Honours student, with extensive business management experience, seeking to enter the investment profession as an analyst. More than two years of investment experience, trading for my own account, and closely following the US markets (with a keen interest in understanding how macroeconomic events are linked to equity performance). I am a motivated, mature, focused, and level-headed individual that will hit the ground running.

Senior Business Analyst for the Jessica's Restaurant Group, with locations at Eagle Canyon Golf Estate, Featherbrooke Estate and Clearwater Mall. I was tasked with increasing the gross profit margins of the Eagle Canyon location (consisting of 3 shops, namely Jessica's Restaurant, Coppa Bar and Halfway House).

● I succeeded in implementing systems and procedures that significantly increased the gross profit margin of the Eagle Canyon location (sustaining an average increase of 6%).

● I was able to uncover theft and fraud taking place within the business and conducted an investigation that led to the dismissal of the employees responsible.

● I performed a wide array of financial management functions.

● I regularly chaired employee disciplinary hearings for the Featherbrooke Estate and Clearwater Mall locations.

I feel fortunate to have been mentored by Andries Strydom, the Financial Director of the company. Andries often introduced me to prominent entrepreneurs and high-ranking corporate executives, enabling me to have scholarly engagements with dynamic individuals (most of whom were more than happy to share with me the abundance of knowledge that they possessed).
