I began my journey with The Hoxton at the Holborn property in London before transferring to The Hoxton Edinburgh to support the pre-opening of the new hotel. As a Reservations Agent, I am the first point of contact for guests, managing phone, email, and online enquiries with a warm and intuitive approach, turning interest into confirmed bookings, while using the cloud-based Opera PMS system to manage reservations efficiently. I take a proactive approach in recommending rooms, hotel facilities, and sharing local knowledge to help personalise each stay.
I also work closely with the Sales and Events team to support group bookings, ensuring all reservations are set up accurately with detailed notes, correct payment instructions, and that VIP or notable guests are appropriately flagged.
