BCom Statistics graduate at UP, hands-on working experience in data mining, extraction, transformation, data quality and validation, data modelling as well as data visualization and using SAS, SQL, Python, R and business intelligence in my current role as a Data Analyst Intern at Wild Impact, where I clean and transform raw datasets, develop data models, validate data, automate reporting and build Power BI dashboards. Strong foundation in ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing concepts, cloud-based data environments and Python-based data processing, supported by Data Engineering Essentials training. I also bring financial-services experience from banking, insurance and financial advisory, as I understand that data engineering is not only about building pipelines; the data ultimately needs to provide accurate data-driven business decisions, mitigate risks, and better business outcomes for clients.
Therefore, ensuring data protection, privacy, regulatory requirements, data lineage and governance is a critical issue in financial-services analytics when working with banks and insurance companies. Therefore, building robust ETL/ELT, pipelines, reliable cloud-based platforms using Microsoft Fabric and data modelling will add strong business protocols and data integrity in the financial-services analytics field which PwC operates in.
