I’m Linda Williams, an enthusiastic graphic designer with experience in the industry. I consistently deliver compelling solutions, driven by a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. I enjoy creative problem-solving and seeking fresh approaches to achieve exceptional results.
I am ideally looking for something fully remote, or failing that, something part-time in or near the Benoni area (Boksburg, Jet Park, Kempton Park, Edenvale, Bedfordview etc.).
I am open to working for junior rates if the position is both part-time AND remote. For remote work, I have a full set-up at my home office (latest Adobe software, fast internet connection, and backup power).
I also enjoy providing valuable support to design agencies and marketing companies by seamlessly filling any temporary gaps in their teams or workload.
After studying Graphic Design and Communications, I spent six years as a Graphic Designer at The Design Line, where I focused on below-the-line design work, including corporate identity development, brand building, advertisements, brochures, annual reports, and signage.
Following this, I joined Practical Publishing as an in-house graphic designer, where I worked on magazines, online newsletters, show elements, launches, events, and website updates.
In 2010, I transitioned into full-time freelancing, enjoying the freedom to work on diverse projects and collaborate with clients from different industries. As a freelancer, I continually strive to evolve my skills, delivering impactful designs that resonate with audiences and businesses.
After matriculating, I commenced a three-year course in Graphic Design and Communications at Vaal Triangle Technikon. This comprehensive program encompassed a wide range of subjects including Graphic Design, Photography, Life and Object Drawing, Techniques, History of Graphic Design, Theory Reproduction, Communications and Marketing. I achieved my diploma, and distinctions in the areas of Graphic Design, Photography, and Drawing.
While there, I received the following awards; First Year Techniques Award and Best Second Year Student.
