I am a maintenance technician for the last 16 years in the FMCG industry, I like doing things properly no shortcuts as my name is attached to the task.

I am a good mentor and have trained operators throughout my career I have experienced that shared knowledge makes for a strong team and easier to identify a potential problems.

I love learning new skills “as iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another”

I am passionate about asset care, maintenance planning and critical spares availability as this will highly effect the efficiency of the business.

I worked in the engineering sector as a sheetmetal worker and semi skilled boilermaker for 8 years also did a four year apprenticeship.

I then moved on to maintenance technician in the fmcg sector and learned valuable skills and had wonderful in-house training.

Helped and stand in as production controller giving full shift report calculate variances and minimize waste during production run.

Supervised a production team of 15 people, trained operators, general staff and update skills matrix, maintained availability production line liaise with maintenance workshop regarding planned maintenance.
