Lunga attended Menzi High School at Umlazi.
Between 2006 and 2008, he attended an Agricultural private college in Richmond, KZN, which established his passion for farming, and the trade business within the industry.
Between 2009 and 2021, and within a span of 10 years in the farming and agribusiness path, Lunga has gained advanced knowledge of the many global farming techniques and international agribusiness trends, trades, and processes.
In the 12 years span of his career, Mr. Phewa has worked with both local farmers of our province in the focus fields of dairy farming, milk processing as well as crop production, packaging, and marketing. Also, he's participated in rural development programs within KZN, where he taught and trained youth in modern and commercial farming practices, basic computer literacy, and a vast understanding of business and finance.
With a total of 5-years of experience in the United States, periods between 2012 and 2021, Lunga has acquired a vast knowledge and understanding of new commercial farming practices, efficient processing methods, lucrative agribusiness technology, as well as simple, yet, ground-breaking marketing approaches - all these with the power to benefit both communities, and the national economy entirely.
As the visionary and head of his startup company, & with the help of his associates, Mr. Phewa is working towards inviting government funding agencies, municipality commitment, as well as the interest of private entities to embrace the vision of our region's development structure and need.
