A 35-year old graduate from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (UKZN), Majoring in Political Sciences & Strategic Management. I have been privileged to work in the Department of Co-operative Governance & Traditional Affairs (COGTA) in the Strategic Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Policy & Research Chief Directorate for over 9 years.
However, I have since resigned from the Department of COGTA as of September 2019 as I wanted to focus more on my events & décor business which has not been doing so well due to Covid 19.
In the 9 years I have worked in the Public Service I have since gained a lot of experience in areas such as HR planning and financial management that came with the duties of being the Payroll and Leave Master, handling the Ignite account and that of handling Performance Information. On a quarterly basis, I produced the Departmental Quarterly Performance Report by loading progress statements against each indicator and target on the DPME system on the targets set on the Annual Performance Plans in accordance with other legislative requirements. I believe with my skills and experience can add value to your Department.
