- STAFF MANAGEMENT: Enforcing time-management and PPE compliance. Ensure that every driver returns with the correct documentation (delivery slips, Fuel slips etc) and that every document is correctly completed. Issue out checklists and route plans for the day.
- FLEET MANAGEMENT: Check all vehicles under control (5 trucks) daily for any new damage or defects. Ensure hygiene is practiced by cleaning of the cabs and their uniform. Responsible for booking of maintenance services and ensuring RTMS compliance of fleet. Ensure all remarks about defects noted on checklists are attended to by mechanic before truck can leave workshop.
- ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTING: Manage and monitor all COF and PRDP documents daily. Ensure each truck is road worthy and meets all Health and Safety requirements by the mine (client) as well as National RTMS. Email daily reports to management/director on loads made, fuel management and reports. Compile and report incidents. Attend monthly Health and Safety meetings at the mine and provide feedback to management. Ensure each driver is booked for medical examinations, attends all inductions and is
- Use tracking technology to monitor fleet by setting up geofencing, route planning, pulling out driving reports and guarding against deviations and fuel theft. Keep and submit invoices monthly of all purchases made daily in relations to parts and other components required on daily operations.

- TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS: Monitor and ensure all loads are dispatched timeously in compliance with planned schedule for the day, documenting all late shipments including the reason for the shipment dispatching after the scheduled dispatch time, missed arrival times and driver issues.
- Work with Management and drivers to implement and administer company health and safety measures, accident reporting policies and procedures to measure and reduce the occurrence and cost of injuries, equipment damage and near-misses.
- Ensure that the stock levels is accurate and that goods are dispatched in a timeous manner.
- Coordinate and direct the driver activities and assignments, including daily delivery, vendor pickup (Mobicel, SAMSUNG), special routings, or any other activities involving the driving workforce.
- Address driver concerns during meetings and or as they arise and report issues to management and HR as needed.
- Utilize department tools to perform daily delivery planning, fleet backhaul planning, all facets of load and trip planning and work instruction to be provided to the driver.
- STOCK COUNT AND RECONCILIATION: Maintain stock levels by daily communicating shortages with Replenishment Team. Ensure all documents pertaining to outbound goods are prepared correctly and handed over to the Delivery Agent before dispatch.
- Ensure dispatches are picked and packed Finished Goods Packaging Quality Control Packing Lists and Dispatch Procedure.
- Move Stock across the floors and departments using equipment like Forklift, Turret Truck and Reach Truck.
- Accurately control, count and reconcile stock across all supply chain units.
- Engage with logistics finance in scheduling weekly, monthly counts including financial stock take. Reconcile and provide adjustments to logistics finance department.
- Engage with inventory management for stock take approval.
- Perform quality checks by scanning locators to ensure accuracy of the WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
