• Ensuring that the required housekeeping and health and safety requirements are met
• Maintenance of pumps, v-belt and chain drives
• Technical drawing analysis
• Machining on the milling machine
• Identifying and use of measuring instruments, inside/outside micrometer and venire
• Alignment of belt drives, v-belt and chain drive
• Tightening bolts and nuts using pneumatic power tools
• Using hydraulic jacks and doing repairs on hydraulic systems
• Remove and install pumps, change and maintain roller bearings
• Use gas cutting equipment
• Fitting of hydraulic pumps
