I have 24years of experience in the Mechanical Engineering field. I have an MBA, BTECH Mechanical Engineering, Pr Tech Eng, PMP. I spent the 1st seven years developing in various organizations such as Power generation, motor manufacturing and aeronautical. Then at Armscor, I spent 6 years in Acquisition facilitating project management and systems engineering on large Denfence Capital projects. Afterwhich I spent another 9 years in Denfence Research and development with the defence industry. My skills have developed from operational to sound portfolio management.
KPIs include: Policy, practices and standards formulation; Portfolio management, large scale Budgets, Public Finance Management, Corporate Governance, Strategy development, Procurement management, research supervision, Technology readiness levels, government funding/non funding mechanism, innovation and Commercialisation, etc. I have an excellent people management and decision making skills.
