I Have more 20 yrs in the FMCG industry . international and national .
I am a South African citizen with International Baking experience. I am specialized in my field for more than twenty years; this includes three years assistant pastry chef experience. I have been employed at one of the largest retail stores in Ireland, named Supervalu in Blackrock, Cork.
This offered me the opportunity to work alongside diverse nationalities. I gained my experience as Pastry Chef through a company called, New York Bagels in Cape Town, South Africa, where I worked alongside a Head Chef from Austria. My core functions were preparing products for breakfast which included laminated croissants and pastries, assorted muffins, scones, a variety of mousses, tarts, desserts, pies, cakes.
My duties included: 1. Using the correct baking temperatures hence I check freezer and refrigerator prior to each shift to verify correct temperatures.
Health and Safety standards.
