Experience
Inbound stock
Ensure that floor clearance executes within the set staging time.
Ensure that no stock is placed in storage or picking locations in the warehouse prior to being accurately captured in ERP system.
Ensure that products are sorted and defaced according to FoodForward SA policies and procedures.
Check that stock is received in good order and within the best date before.
Ensure that stock quantities are verified as correct upon receipt against the supplier delivery note.
Outbound stock
Supervise the dispatching process: ensure that products are correctly picked and captured in the stock system at all times.
Ensure that no goods are dispatched to BO; s without all the documentation being present in accordance with the Policies and procedures.
Ensure that all goods that are dispatched from the warehouse correctly packed and damage free.
Ensure that the forklift /Moving equipment is maintained and in good working order
Equipment/Tool Trade
Ensure that all equipment/tools of trade are operated in a safe and efficient manner, following prescribed work methods.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicles.
On a daily basis, perform routine pre and post inspection and perform minor maintenance on the forklift and other tools of trade, and recommend repairs.
Maintain material handling equipment by recharging, cleaning, oiling, refueling and other necessary actions, and record/log all information.
Maintain the facility’s equipment, materials and premises is neat, clean and orderly manner, including the removal of pallets, wood, plastic and other debri
Fleet Management:
Review the Fleet Master and other relevant documents and files regularly to ensure that it is up to date, that all our vehicles are serviced, properly maintained, cleaned, and roadworthy in accordance with national road regulations
Obtain the necessary quotations and authorizations for repairs and maintenance work that needs to be completed
Ensure that all our vehicles that require fitment, repairs, roadworthy, etc. is done timeously, after obtaining the necessary quotations and approvals
Conduct spot checks on the Ctrack system to ensure that the system is working properly in all our vehicles, and that there are no deviations from trip sheets
Conduct spot checks to ensure that all our vehicles are working properly, that there are no damages, and that all the legal roadworthy components are on the vehicle ▪ Monitor fuel usage reports of the fleet and take the necessary action as and when needed.
Monitor the vehicle utilization reports and advise the national operations manager accordingly
Ensure that all FFSA vehicle policies, procedures, and requirements are adhered to at all times
Attend to any fleet issues that may arise from time to time
