I began her television career in 2009 at Urban Brew Studios as a
Production Manager.
Having worked across multiple platforms within the media industry, including companies such as Ogilvy (Producer Flying Fish Campaign), Endemol (Production Manager Fear Factor
India), Ukhamba Communications (Production Manager Chopped SA), Orijin (Line Producer and Producer of all kykNET’s Graphic Elements for the whole Channel), Cut To Black Media
(Producer of the Open Society Foundation Documentaries across Africa), Black Brain
Pictures (Ses’Top La Production and Post-Production Manager) and Tswelopele
Productions (Top Billing Content Producer and Director) to name but a few, it’s given her a clear cut understanding of how to utilise various broadcast mediums / media effectively to pull out all stops in pursuit of delivering an excellent product on time. With more than 11
years’ experience as a Line Producer, Director, Producer, Senior Production Manager,
Traffic Manager, she is well adept in creating content, administering paperwork, managing schedules and negotiating contracts. Moreover, while her on-the-job experience has afforded her a well-rounded skill set, including first rate communication and overall management of any project, she best excels at:
Line Producing budgets
Content creation
Overseeing business functions of the project (Contracts, payment schedules etc.);
Ensuring final costs exceeds expectations;
Producing to the max from initiation to completion.
In addition to her experience, she has built up a solid educational foundation (Degree in
Communication Science and a Certificate in Digital Media Production) and a passion for producing high quality productions. She is currently employed at The Bar Leader TV as a
Line Producer, LP’ing multiple productions. She is extremely enthusiastic about the media industry. Media and Communication is the world's fastest growing industry and is an area of rapid and continuous technological, political, economic, and social change, which continuously captivates her. She recently also graduated in a Digital Strategy and Marketing course through Red and Yellow.
