Good day, I'm a 40-year-old non-smoking female with +/- 20 years working experience in the property industry. From renting, selling, managing property portfolios to doing bond applications, Debtors / Creditors / Reconciliation / Accounting, Invoicing of Rent due, drafting of contracts.
I’m currently permanent employed at Starlock since 1 March 2018. Managing the maintenance team of 4 employees and overseeing that all the maintenance on all the rental properties is done. If my team cannot do it, we get the correct contractor in to come and attend to the maintenance.
I am also helping with the rental of the properties, showing of units, approving of tenants and placing of tenants. In and out inspections and the monthly invoicing for rental and then the collection of rentals. Reporting to owners and body corporates as required.
We also have a student accommodation complex that is NSFAS approved and overseeing the day to day running of the health and safety of those students and transport.
I’m a quick learner on new computer systems. Excel and Word and other managing software like Pro Prop. I have also started on Suprima 5 software and is busy with my NQF4 – Real Estate but have not completed it due to personal reasons. Will explain in the interview.
I feel like I have reached the ceiling and can’t grow more at the current small family business and seeking thus other employment and new challenges. I am willing to relocate and looking for a long-term employment as I only have 20 – 25 years left to work I want to make it my best work.
