As a recent Bachelor of Journalism graduate from Rhodes University, I am eager to apply my strong foundation in journalistic principles and communication skills to a dynamic role in corporate communications. With a keen understanding of effective storytelling and the ability to navigate diverse media channels, I aim to contribute to an organization's strategic communication objectives. My goal is to leverage my education and passion for clear and compelling communication to enhance brand reputation, engage stakeholders, and drive the success of the corporate communications team

• Writing- For the past six months, I've been employed in the Rhodes Communications Division as a writer. During this time, I've authored a total of eight articles, six of which have been published on the Institution's website. My role involved attending events and recording the statements made by various contributors. Subsequently, I was responsible for transcribing the audio materials collected at these events and crafting a compelling angle and title for the story. Being a writer at the Rhodes Communications Division demanded excellent time management skills and a high degree of thoroughness in my work.
• Photography- I was responsible for photographing various events assigned to me at Rhodes Communications. Throughout my tenure with the organization, I honed and developed significant photography skills.
• Audio- I would take great audio material that I would listen to later on when I would transcribe it from audio form to putting it on paper. 
• Videography- I also was assigned as a social media person at the intervarsity and I took pictures for them for both social media and also some that they would store in their archives.

I recently completed my Honours degree in Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I pursued dual majors in Journalism and Drama, complemented by minors in Legal Theory, Accounting, and Isixhosa for Journalism. This multidisciplinary background has equipped me with a diverse skill set, combining the art of storytelling with a solid foundation in legal principles, financial acumen, and proficiency in Isixhosa.

I am eager to apply this unique blend of expertise in a professional setting as I embark on my career journey.
