I’m writing to apply for the above-mentioned position. I am in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate, a National Diploma in Human Resources Management and Practices as well as a valid Code B driver’s license.

I am currently employed at the Stellenbosch Municipality as an Administrator within the Community Services Department. My current duties include:

• Attending to email/telephonic enquiries internally and externally and diverting such enquiries to the relevant officials.
• Developing, maintaining and updating the electronic and hardcopy filing system of the section.
• Liaising with various Service Providers with regards to purchase orders, invoices and deliveries.
• Issuing of stock. (SAMRAS System).
• Performing routine administrative tasks.
• Compiling and submitting of staff monthly reports, proof of payments and timesheets.
• Capturing of permanent and part-time staff leave (Payday System & Hardcopy).
• Handling queries regarding leave and salaries.
• Drafting of extension and termination letters.
• Scheduling of meetings/Taking Meeting minutes.
