I have 10 years of events and admin work experience and I believe the knowledge and skills I have gained make me the perfect candidate for this position. I have worked on corporate events for companies like Total South Africa, Eskom and SAMSA just to mention a few. In my previous position as Production Coordinator, my duties included client liaisons, organizing events, recces, compiling costs for events and compiling presentations, managing activations, booking activation space, shops, and Malls, briefing the production and graphics department.
My main clients were Total SA, Tiger Brands and Johannesburg Parks and Zoo. Currently, I work as an Events Coordinator at Veritas Events.
Worked as an Events assistant for 2 years
I worked as an Activations coordinator for 2 years then got promoted to being an Events Coordinator.
Sourcing and executing events and activations as per client briefs.
Booking, training briefing promoters for campaigns
Managing promotion elements, making sure that promoters sign them out and return them after the promotion
Compiling weekly activation Statuses and weekly Invoice trackers and making sure it’s sent out every Monday to client.
Compiling weekly feedback reports and sending to clients Capturing and submitting promoter monthly pay sheets to accounts Promotional management/supervision at events and activations.
Checking if promoters are at venues or in-store during activations Liaising with clients for promotional bookings and event set–up Management of promoter fines(late coming, uniform, no pics, etc.)
