A highly dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven candidate with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with Honours from the North West University. I am a qualified Dietitian currently completing my Community Service year at Sizwe Tropical Disease Hospital, where I have expanded upon my skills to assess, evaluate, treat and provide dietetic input to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team. In my present and past employment, I developed the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, deal with challenging client complaints, multitask in rapidly changing circumstances, and order tasks based on urgency.
I am a strong learner who is dedicated to expanding my knowledge, enjoy taking on responsibility, and I excel at providing helpful services to people in need. I have made countless beneficial contributions to my workplace that have significantly improved the lives of my patients thanks to my innate ability to take initiative when working with limited resources. The courses that I have taken as part of my ongoing education as a healthcare professional show how keen I am to expand my professional skill set.
I am a young and passionate industry entrant with a passion for nutrition and enhancing peoples quality of life via nutrition therapy. I am seeking a position as a Dietitian in either the government or private practice. Ultimately, I want to work towards taking part in nutrition programming and policy development that explicitly targets people who are food insecure.
