I am a final-year BCom Finance and Financial Accounting student at the University of the Western Cape, with a focused interest in equity research, financial analysis and investment management.

My academic work has given me hands-on exposure to valuation. I am currently completing a DCF and relative valuation of Shoprite as part of my Corporate Finance module, and previously produced an equity research report analysing beta, volatility and ALSI correlations across four JSE-listed companies, earning 83% for that work.

Beyond the classroom, I completed an internship at Lighthouse Finance where I worked across financial reporting, variance analysis and multi-jurisdictional tax environments. I am also a Senior Merit Award recipient and Givaudan and IMATU bursary holder at UWC.

I am drawn to environments where rigorous, evidence-based thinking drives decisions, whether that is in asset management, credit or corporate finance. I am currently actively seeking vacation work and graduate opportunities within the South African investment industry.

Accounting Intern at Lighthouse finance (2025-11 – 2026-02)

• Analysed trial balances, bank reconciliations, VAT and payroll data to ensure accuracy and support financial reporting processes
